Stride for Change

Join us for a Community Sunrise Run on March 28th! This event is about more than just running, it’s about coming together as a community to give back!

Proceeds from this run will go directly to support our local Juvenile Detention Center. Funds will help improve their recreation area and provide resources for social emotional learning (SEL) activities, giving the students healthier outlets for growth, movement and personal development!

As someone born and raised in Yuma and a former teacher who spent six years working with youth, including students in the juvenile system, this cause is deeply personal. These young people deserve opportunities to grow, learn and experience positive support from their community!

Whether you choose to run, walk, or simply come out to support, your participation will help create better spaces and opportunities for these youth!
